We joined in...

So this is the first of hopefully many more entries to come. Both of my good friends started blogs and I have absolutely loved reading them each day. So I decided to start one myself. A little late, but I figured better late then never. Our son, Colin, turns one in exactly twelve days. I am hoping that down the road he will get a kick out of reading the entries. Having a child certainly puts everything in life into perspective. He is the most amazing thing that I think could have ever happened to us. Waking up each day to his smiling face is something I will never take for granted. The fact that he is a healthy and happy child is more than we could ever ask for. Just the other night my husband and I were in his room while he was crawling around reading books and playing with toys before bed. I looked at my husband with tears in my eyes and said, "our life is so good, we have a healthy and happy child, a roof over our head, and food on the table"...who could ask for anything more? So, I am hoping to chronicle the next year and hopefully many more years of Colin's life. As we enter toddlerhood I am sure there will be many new and exciting moments to share!
